The Duomo, Florence by >Cluke on Flickr.
"On the last night we took a walk up to the Piazzale Michelangelo where there is a great view across the city. Of course, as we had set out in the afternoon and the viewpoint was a last minute decision, I didn’t have my tripod with me. Once again a handy and very sturdy parapet came to my rescue and I was able to do the long exposures using this - much to the amusement of an elderly Australian photographer who was there with all of his fancy gear telling me my pictures would be rubbish! The things we have to put up with :-) He even made me show him an enlarged picture on the rear screen to prove it was sharp! We had a good crack though and if you ever read this mate then the best of luck and happy trails. Thanks for visiting and I hope that you enjoy the work.” - >Cluke

We noticed Catherine Marshall has been busy capturing what she’s seen in her diving adventures. And after admiring over 200 of her photo albums, we asked Catherine to give us a little insight into her story as an underwater photographer, particularly her explorations of Japanese military shipwrecks in Micronesia. Enjoy the Photographer Spotlight of this photographer on the Flickr Blog.
